National Guard presence for re-stocking only

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department informs the community that in response to an order signed by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, the Arizona National Guard is present in communities throughout Arizona starting today, Saturday, March 28.

The mission of the Arizona National Guard is to transport supplies to grocery stores, and provide relief to store employees by stocking shelves with food and necessities. This mission is completed on a routine basis and the Arizona National Guard is not providing any security measures for the stores.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department continues to handle all security and law enforcement related issues.
