LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is offering a free outdoor drive-thru COVID-19 saliva testing event in the parking lot of the city’s Aquatic Center this Friday, October 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The COVID testing, requires pre and/or onsite registration, and, is being offered by Arizona State University, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Health Services. Participants can pre-register prior to Friday’s testing using the agency code: SALIVATEST. However, pre-registration is not required in order to participate in the testing. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Join Lake Havasu City Mayor Cal Sheehy and City Manager Jess Knudson for coffee and casual conversation in-person, this Friday, October 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the stage under the London Bridge. Residents are encouraged to attend this socially distanced event to express any issues, concerns, or questions.  The event does not require an RSVP and is an informal come-and-go setting. The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) encourages hunters to submit their 2021 spring hunt applications early and avoid the stress of waiting until the last minute. MOHAVE COUNTY – It’s time to signal the end of any emergency that Mohave County may have had with respect to COVID-19, according to Dist. 2 Mohave county Supervisor Hildy Angius. The Bullhead City rep. is asking fellow supervisors to rescind Chairman Jean Bishop’s March 18 proclamation at next Monday’s Board meeting. “I believe the emergency is over,” Angius said Tuesday.
