Campbell, Moses take seats

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Nancy Campbell and Cameron Moses have taken their Lake Havasu City Council seats with enthusiasm. Both were issued their oaths of office and seated on Nov. 24.

“I just want to remind everyone out there why I ran for city council and it was for your family and for mine,” Campbell said. “I do believe we have a legacy behind us and a future that we need to protect and I feel confident that with the current council and mayor that everybody will be just fine.”

Campbell said its people are Lake Havasu’s most important asset. She said she is humbled and honored to serve the community and its citizens.

“I’m so proud to serve up here with every single one of you,” Moses told council members. “I look forward to buttin’ heads, disagreeing a little bit. Friction makes fire and I think we’re going to do a lot of really good things for the city.”
