Board lowers COVID compliancy fines

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County will continue enforcing Governor Doug Ducey’s COVID-19 pandemic-related restrictions and regulations for bars and restaurants, gyms and movie theaters, but the Board of Supervisors voted Monday to lower the range of potential sanctions for non-compliance. There was little discussion of fully ignoring enforcement of the Governor’s edicts, as staff members continue to say they don’t know what the consequences might be for the county. Kingman Area Food Bank receives new equipment donation

KINGMAN – The Arizona Elks have made a donation enabling the replacement of an essential freezer to the Kingman Area Food Bank. This freezer is used daily as community members are provided emergency food in the food bank store. Donations from St. Mary’s Food Bank, Safeway, Walmart, Basha and Smiths as well as several other local retail establishments are collected daily using a Food Bank refrigerated truck.
