KINGMAN – Two young Kingman women staging a Black Lives Matter protest say they’ve received death threats on social media. Shai Weaver and Naysha Powell say they have encountered resistance as they plan a peaceful assembly at Locomotive Park from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. As our nation goes through these times of tribulation and turmoil, I am reminded of “words”. Words are powerful, if used correctly. To many times we say things that devastate someone’s hope and dreams with what they say. Recently, I was grocery shopping and overheard this conversation, “Can you help me sanitize these carts please?” Answer: “No, that’s not in my job description”. I couldn’t help but ask, “Why not?
