COVID-19 update: 85 new cases of all ages groups

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 85 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Thirty-five of the new cases are in the Bullhead City service area. There are also 32 cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. The Kingman service area has 15 new cases. North County has three new cases.

Of the 35 Bullhead City area cases, all of them remain under investigation and although they are confirmed positives, more information is required. Two cases are 0-10; three cases are 11-19; one case is 20-29; seven cases are 30-39; ten cases are 40-49; four cases are 50-59; four cases are 60-69; two cases are 70-79; two cases are 80-89.

Of the 32 Lake Havasu City area cases, all of them remain under investigation at this time. Two of them are 0-10; two are 11-19; three are 20-29; five are 30-39; three are 40-49; six are 50-59; six are 60-69; four are 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 15 cases in the Kingman service area, 12 remain under investigation. Five are 20-29; one is 30-39; two are 40-49; one is 60-69; two are 70-79; one is 90+. The remaining three Kingman area cases are recovering at home and are linked to other confirmed cases. Two are 50-59 and ne is 80-89.

Finally, there are three confirmed cases in the North County area. All three are under investigation. One is 40-49; one is 50-59; one 70-79.

There are now 542 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 14 deaths, 409 in Kingman, with a total of 46 deaths there, and 38 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) and 910 in Bullhead City, including 33 deaths. There are now a total of 93 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases, 1,899.

The average age of all Mohave County positive cases is now 48.4 years old.

The average age of deaths from COVID-19 in Mohave County is now 78.2.

As of now the MCDPH is reporting a total of 581 recovered cases in the county. This will be updated once a week on Mondays for the previous week.
