Dear Editor, September 29, 2020, was just another bad day in 2020. We thought that with Covid-19, unemployment, and riots in the streets of America’s cities it could not get worse. It did. Joe Biden, Donald Trump and Chris Wallace gave us a “show?” we will never forget. Our leaders used to make us proud. We grew up wanting to emulate people in high places who inspired us with their remarkable lives. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College was fully represented at the Northwest Attainment Kick Off meeting. The meeting was part of the Achieve 60 Arizona initiative whose goal is for 60% of Arizonans to have achieved a post-secondary credential by 2030. Dear Editor, The only conclusion one may possibly reach from reading some opinion letters in The Standard, is there must be something in the Kool-Aid the writer is drinking. How else can you explain (in this information age) the COVID-19 hoax, especially when the writer uses CDC information to attempt proving her ill-conceived opinion. She writes, “The DCD has just updated its statistics that 94% of the supposed COVID-19 deaths were not actually COVID-19 deaths. MOHAVE COUNTY – An unprecedented number of Mohave County residents will be voting by mail in the Nov. 3 general election.
