Born October 25th 1938 in Kingman, Ariz., and passed quietly away at her home August 16, 2020. Granny is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and oldest son, John. Dorothy leaves behind a legacy in her children Frank (Nora), Clay (Michelle) and Lori with 13 Grandchildren and 32 (and counting) Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and boat loads of friends and fishermen. Her love and pride of, and for, Kingman and Mohave County was only surpassed by her love of serving others. Ridge Fire 91% contained

KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management reports 91% containment of the Ridge Fire that has been held to just under 3,100 acres in the Hualapai Mountains. About 175 personnel remain on the fire, securing containment lines and stamping out hotspots. Mop up operations will continue with full containment expected next Tuesday.
