Grace Women’s Ministry providing warmth in the community

KINGMAN – The Grace Lutheran Church Women’s Ministry has had a long commitment to those in need in the community.   Every quarter, quilts and layettes are blessed and distributed. Layettes go to Kingman Regional Medical Center and to the Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center. Extra baby blankets and clothing and sometimes diapers go to the Pregnancy Center as well.   In support of the literacy program started at Grace last year, every layette contains a baby’s book. BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 28.      On this day, law enforcement agencies across the country will provide a venue for people who want to safely and anonymously dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications.
