Animals survive house fire

BULLHEAD CITY – On October 23, at approximately 11:39 a.m., Bullhead City Fire crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire on the 500 block of Mead Lane. Upon arrival, a single-story residence with two additions were fully involved. After confirming that all of the occupants had safely evacuated, the home crews began an aggressive fire attack and were able to keep the blaze contained to the primary structure. However, a neighboring home did sustain minimal damage to the exterior. Firefighters battled the blaze for approximately an hour and a half before the fire was called under control.   No injuries…

Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Grant 

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department was awarded grant funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) for the purchase of two CMI Inc. Intoxilyzer 9000 breath alcohol testing instruments.  “These state-of-the-art instruments are approved for use by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and will be replacing two CMI Inc.
