KINGMAN— A defendant was released from custody after pleading guilty to sexual abuse during an Oct. 21 hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center in Kingman. That was a key term in the plea deal entered for Jaime Manry, 30.
Deputy county attorney Eric Nolan told Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle that Manry committed the offense while a professional attempted to measure his vitals at a behavioral health facility in downtown Kingman on Aug. 29.
“The defendant reached up and grabbed and groped the breast of the victim, which was scary and offensive to her,” Nolan said.
Manry has significant incentive in attending his sentencing hearing scheduled Nov. 19.
The plea agreement stipulates probation and no further jail time if Manry is present at sentencing. It also mandates a prison sentence if he doesn’t show.
