Tanya Fergueson earns Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation

KIKNGMAN – The City of Kingman has announced that Deputy City Clerk, Tanya Fergueson, has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).

Given the rapid and profound changes we face today, embracing lifelong learning is no longer a mere choice but a vital necessity for everyone in local government. City Clerk Annie Meredith expressed her admiration, saying, “Tanya’s achievement is a reflection of her dedication to the Municipal Clerk profession, and her commitment to our city. Her willingness to learn and grow enrich our team and the services we provide to Kingman’s residents.”

The International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), founded in 1947, stands as a distinguished professional, nonprofit association serving the needs of municipal clerks, secretaries, treasurers, recorders, and other allied associations from cities and towns worldwide. With a membership of over 14,500 professionals, IIMC’s primary mission is to actively promote the continuing education and professional development of municipal experts.
