Poisoning birds kills cats

Dear Editor, I live in downtown Kingman, and finding on an otherwise healthy cat dead in my yard prompted this letter. I suspect you people who put out poison to kill pigeons and doves don’t realize that a poisoned bird equals a dead cat when the bird slows down (because of the poison). MHS Choir Festival is tonight

BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave High School’s award-winning choirs will hold a festival-themed spring concert tonight, Wednesday, March 4.  It is, according to choir and vocal music director Cameron Pruett, a representation of school choir competition season euphemistically referred to as ‘Festival.’ The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Mohave High auditorium.  Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.  Proceeds benefit Mohave’s music program. “There’ll be a smattering of genres such as French chanson, contemporary choral, samba, jazz ballad, musical theatre, cabaret, wild western, religious and seasonal,” said Pruett.  “This time of year is always fun because it…
