Echoes of Childhood: Free concert Saturday

KINGMAN – Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m., at Kingman a Presbyterian Church (2425 Detroit Ave), Kingman Concert Band will be in concert, performance titled, “Echoes of Childhood.” The 75 minute performance is free and open to the public and will feature a variety of selections taking the audience back to their youth. “The Kingman Concert Band has provided free performances to the greater Kingman area for over twenty years. Lenore H. Hafley, 82, of Kingman, Arizona, passed away on February 19, 2020. She was born December 13, 1938 to J. Leonard and Grace Neal. Lenore is survived by two sons; Leonard and Ty Hafley, along with 14 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, Tom E. Hafley and Casey C. Hafley; grandson TJ Hafley; brothers John L. and Raymond Neal; and parents John Leonard and Grace Neal. Lenore loved ranching, horses, cattle, cooking, and the cinema. Alex Bosze went home to be with his Lord Jesus on February 13, 2020 in Bullhead, Arizona at the age of 81 surrounded by family. Deputy injured during chase

A deputy suffered minor leg injuries after a law enforcement vehicle pursuit from La Paz County ventured north into Mohave County Wednesday, Feb. 4. Spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said the Mohave County Sheriff’s office was notified at 7:20 p.m. that the  chase of a 2016 Mini Cooper entered south Mohave County near the Bill Williams Bridge on Highway 95.   Mortensen said the suspect vehicle entered and quickly exited Cattail Cove State Park where a La Paz County sheriff’s deputy was staged near the entrance.    “The deputy positioned himself outside of his vehicle attempting to stop the suspect,” Mortensen said. “During…

KINGMAN – Saturday and Sunday , February 29- March 1, a Tristate Women’s Expo was held a the Mohave Fairgrounds. The event had more than 90 vendors participating this year. Of all the vendors, there were: Cosmetic Facial Tattooing, Color Street, Oasis Day Spa, Ashley’s Tu-Tully Cute Boutique, Baby Meets World 3D/4D Ultrasound Studio, Sweet Peas Photography, Hidden Treasures and many more. Jon Edward Glenn passed away March 4, 2020 in Kingman, Arizona at the age of 82 surrounded by family. Jon was born in Wilcox, Arizona on November 21, 1937 to Clois Kaiser and Ira Glenn. Jon married Diane Grimes on December 11, 1976 in Kingman, Arizona. Jon worked for Citizens Utilities Phone for 36 years and retired in 2002.
