Open swim sessions offered at Aquatic Center

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Looking for some family fun this summer?  The Aquatic Center is offering open swim sessions Monday through Saturday, starting Monday, June 8th. Weekly session are available from 11:30a.m. to 2:00p.m., 2:30p.m. to 5:00p.m. and a  Saturday session from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. It is our goal to create an environment focused on protocols that protect everyone who enters the Aquatic Center for open swim. Flag raising will be held Monday, June 8

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to invite residents to help us raise the American and POW/MIA flags at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to Locomotive Park. The event will take place Monday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m. Members of the Marine Corps League, the Young Marines, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and other local groups will be in attendance to help the city raise the flags. Last month, the Veteran’s Memorial Park was vandalized, and therefore the flagpole cable had to be replaced. The city would like to thank our Public Works Department for working swiftly to replace the cable…

COVID-19 update: 33 new cases, six deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Friday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 33 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Twenty-nine of those are in the Bullhead City service area. There were also six deaths. Three of them are in the Bullhead area and all three are previously reported cases. One is 70-79 and the other two are 80-89.  The other three deaths are all in the Kingman service area. One is in the 50-59 year age range and is not a previously reported case.
