WAHS to host fundraiser for homeless animals

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Western Arizona Humane Society (WAHS) is creating a unique way to fundraise for animals in need. For over 45 years, the pet adoption nonprofit has been assisting potential pet owners with finding just the right furry companion.

The team also treats animals in need of additional care before placing them into homes with their foster parents. Next week, WAHS has plans to take over one of Lake Havasu’s local brewing companies.

The staff and volunteer takeover will be a fun filled charitable evening where thirty percent of customer purchases will go back to WAHS. All you have to do is let your server know that you’re there to support WAHS, and they will honor the thirty percent discount. The WAHS Staff and Volunteer take over will be taking place on Wednesday, August 14 from 5 to 8 p.m., at Mudshark Brewery.

The 30% will go to homeless animals in need of rescuing so that WAHS can find the pets loving homes and owners.  Visit westernarizonahumane.org to learn more about their upcoming fundraisers.
