This nation has an uphill battle

Dear Editor, Poor Donald J. Trump and family, ousted from public housing, the shame! At last Americans have had it. Since the spineless Senate politicians would not vote to impeach Trump, it was left up to the people to finally say enough. Time for a change to civility and a little compassion, time to heal the malignancy allowed to fester by this administration and get over our worldwide embarrassment! Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio all know what Donald Trump was after their debates. As soon as they found out Trump’s vicious vindictive nature, they all became sycophants, afraid…

Why the NACFD #1 candidates are asking for equal time

Dear Editor, On November 3, during the General Election, the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District #1 (NACFD1) will be holding an election to fill three seats on its board. Richard Veradt, Gerald Lucero and Susan Brown are challenging three incumbents, Jim Bailey, Mike Collins and Erik Berg for their seats. Each of us has attended many meetings of the board for many years and are unhappy with how our fire district is being managed. Reasonable people…

Signs are being corrected

Dear Editor, We understand that the NACFD board has sent a news release to you re: Our campaign signs. We explained our signs but the board still demanded our signs be taken down. In an effort to appease them we have altered our signs. I have attached a copy of our original response to the NACFD board. As of today I am still double checking our signs to make sure they are altered. We hope you will include this response if you print the NACFD news release. Rick Veradt Kingman

Home health care employee lauded

Dear Editor, I’d like to give a huge shout out to Tristen Mote who works for Hualapai Home Health Care. Not only is she knowledgeable and has a bedside manner that exceeded my expectations, she also goes out of her way to care for her patient. Anyone who needs this type of service, ask or Tristen. She is the Tom Brady (G.O.A.T.) of home health care. Becky Brooks Kingman
