Dear Editor, Did it ever occur to those who are incensed over this Trump impeachment fiasco, the entire thing could have been avoided, if not for the outdated electoral college system we have in this country? With it out of the picture, had the people’s choice actually prevailed, Hillary Clinton would have been president. Then, the Republicans could have been holding impeachment hearings on her! Dear Editor, To anyone paying attention to today’s current events it can easily make one feel confused, simply anxiously overwhelmed, unsettled or outright afraid. To address this I suggest a weekly, or bi-weekly, current events discussion group be available here in Kingman. We have an outstanding local resource to make this happen …. our local college – MCC! I imagine the above-mentioned group to be facilitated by an MCC staff. This discussion group may provide a resource to help answer questions you have or just provide a constructive format and outlet to lower your ”news anxiety.” Don’t continue to blunder…
Dear Editor, I live on N. Bond St., and I am seeing people drive down the road at 30 to 45 mph in a 25 mph zone residential, and most are neighbors. I think they do it because they can get from point A to point B quicker. How can I get them to slow down? They think that N. Bond St is Nascar St., and that they are Rusty Wallace. A lot of them are senior citizens and if you drive the speed limit they tailgate you, then they give you the bird. Donald Darling Kingman
Dear Editor, The Post Office offers a free service called “Informed Delivery”. After you sign up for the service, they will send you an E-mail every day with a photo of every piece of mail you are to receive that day. They will also show if any packages are scheduled for delivery. If a piece of mail is missing, you can instantly notify them that you did not receive the mail that was scheduled to be delivered and they will investigate. Dear Editor, If there is one pet peeve it is our liberal legal justice system. I don’t know how you feel, but in my case I wasn’t for legal help but guess who is allowed. That’s right my taxpaying friend, the guilty get a free attorney. And guess who doesn’t get a free attorney? Right again! The crime victim is expected to pay. Here is a question for all to really think on. Yes, even pray on for justice. It’s written in our pledge of allegiance: For liberty and justice for all. But guess who comes out on that deal?…
