What’s up with What-kins?
Dear Editor,
Before Mayor Ken Ellery Watkins took office, the city had some reasonable semblance in the concept of balanced growth and sustainability with manageable stress on the frail infrastructure. That has radically changed, and I blame Mayor Ken What-kins.

Taxation without representation
Dear Editor,
I moved to Kingman from Idaho in November. I enjoy smaller towns. I was surprised to see my first electric bill as it had nine different taxes and surcharges on it which caused it to go from $90 to $310.

Use your voice!
Dear Editor,
Hey friends, and neighbors! On March 28 I will be going to a peaceful “No Kings” Protest, and I welcome you all to join. The purpose is simple: to reaffirm the American principle that no one is above the Constitution, and that public office is a duty, not a crown.

Iran, no peaceful day, there or here
Dear Editor,

Eat beans, not beings
Dear Editor,
Eat beans, not beings. A major new global study published in Nature Food maps how food production is driving deforestation and climate warming carbon emissions across nearly every country on Earth.

Hear ye, hear ye
Dear Editor,
It’s widely apparent the predominant reason behind this “City Hall Crew” scurrying in many directions is to demonstrate and perform a charade of many activities which in the normal course of events should have occurred without hesitation. This election drops many facets of challenge to these incumbents.

Pride comes before the fall: Part Two
Dear Editor,
In his typical Trump fashion that in ways had nothing to do with the State of the Union he addressed the nation that at times felt like a production with showy promos.

What has John Gillette been doing to improve the lives of his constituents?
Dear Editor,
John Gillette is our Representative in LD30, to the Arizona House of Representatives. So what has he been doing to improve the lives of his constituents? Here’s three bills he has sponsored this year:
HB2806 would require Arizona to verify citizenship using a flawed federal system for everything from voter registration to health care and driver licenses.

Reply to Dennis C. Miller: Air Traffic Controllers were not allowed to strike
Mr. Miller forgot to mention Air Traffic Controllers were not allowed to strike, stated in their contract. When the individuals walked out President Reagan did fire them and set to hire individuals that would honor that contract.
