Arizona State Senate President Warren Petersen has been a licensed attorney for about two and a half years, having been admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona on December 21, 2023. He has not practiced law!

A. The attorney general shall have been for not less than five years immediately preceding the date of taking office a practicing attorney before the supreme court of the state. He is entitled to receive an annual salary pursuant to section 41-1904.
Warren Petersen is not qualified to be Attorney General.
