BULLHEAD CITY – On Wednesday, December 18, several of Bullhead City Fire Department (BHCFD) crews responded to a singlewide mobile home fire in the 2200 block of Coronado Dr. Firefighters confirmed that all occupants had safely evacuated the home, began an offensive attack and were able to knock down the blaze quickly.

BHCFD Captain Campbell advised that a closed bedroom door kept the fire from spreading to additional areas in the home and no injuries were reported. The Red Cross assisted the occupants. Fire investigators arrived on the scene and after speaking with the occupants, it was discovered that a space heater was in use. Although the cause of the fire remains under investigation, residents are reminded to keep safety in mind when using a space heaters.
