My view of a Biden, Harris future

Dear Editor, Anywhere in this jotting, substitute Biden / Harris for Communists or vice versa. Biden will try immediately to emasculate America by gutting the military services. Our Constitution will come under immediate attack as being flawed and irrelevant and will be subjected to a barrage of amendments to bring it into line with the Communists’ plan for the future. As quickly as possible he will have legislation rammed thru congress to outlaw private possession of all firearms and ammo, with draconian penalties for non-compliance. He will try to have arrested, anyone who is a visible or vocal critic of…

The Sun is Shining

Dear Editor, The Sun is shining today and will rise tomorrow. For more years than we know the Sun has followed this same pattern. The rising Sun is a good pattern for all of us. We are never completely satisfied with the job the Sun does. Too hot, not hot enough. Too bright. Through all of our life’s discontents with…

Dear Editor, The Morning Glories held a successful yard sale in front of Annie’s Attic Saturday, October 24. Annie’s Attic supported our club through the month of October by selling raffle tickets. Gifts were donated to the Morning Glories for this raffle by local businesses and individuals. Thank you to: Smith’s, True Value, Lin’s Little China, The Detail Shop, Mary’s Custom Sweaters, and Leta with BHG Wellness. Annie’s Attic supplied the space, tables, and set up and break down expertise. In addition, they have given the Morning Glories a monetary donation toward our scholarship fund. The Morning Glories is a…

Community resources lacking

Dear Editor, I would like to address the total lack of regard to the already outrageous issue of human trafficking and the direct connection between it and homelessness, drug addiction, struggling single mothers and the officials who are in the position to protect but do not. I am a victim of this horrific crime and it is my community that helped put me here. A victim of domestic violence I had to choose to be homeless to be safe and there are no resources for me and my family. No transitional housing, no food vouchers, no identification, no food boxes,…
