Dear Editor, The only conclusion one may possibly reach from reading some opinion letters in The Standard, is there must be something in the Kool-Aid the writer is drinking. How else can you explain (in this information age) the COVID-19 hoax, especially when the writer uses CDC information to attempt proving her ill-conceived opinion. She writes, “The DCD has just updated its statistics that 94% of the supposed COVID-19 deaths were not actually COVID-19 deaths. Dear Editor, The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council has helped nearly 3,000 veterans since its inception. We continue to aid military veterans and their immediate families. Individual assistance decisions are made based on circumstances. We may provide direct assistance or refer them to our community partners. Decisions are based on a “hand-up” process. We continue to sponsor Veterans Resources Fairs in Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Kingman. Recently we have been asked to assist with two LaPaz County Stand Downs, along with the Arizona Department of Veterans Services and the Arizona Stand Down Alliance who provide the funding. We will…

Dear Editor, How much fire, destruction and death does it take to open the eyes of the blind? Since 9/11, we have seen so much death and destruction, and yet the people of America seem to have blinders on – can’t see and can’t hear.
