Dear Editor, After careful consideration, the steering committee of Kingman Women Making History has made a very difficult decision.  The March event to honor Kingman Women Making History has been canceled.  We have every intention of holding the event in 2022. We are choosing to be respectful of the public and the health and safety of all participants and guests.  Normally this event brings an excess of 200 people.  We feel a deep responsibility to past winners and future recipients to be respectful of their well being.   In these challenging times the committee wishes to focus on the positive.  For…

Dear Editor, When I was sixteen years old, I was invited to speak at a little country church in rural Denver Kentucky, not far from Paintsville. The church had all but closed its doors but one man, Harold Rice, and his family wanted to see the church stay open and do well.  A church with few to almost no people typically does not attract too many interested ministers. Dear Editor, Anyone who states that Hillary Clinton “demonstrated grace, poise, and class in defeat” has been out of touch for the last four years or is suffering from delusions. Judging from the extreme Trump hatred coming from that quarter it seems to be the latter. It isn’t Trump supporters who rioted, looted, and burned down cities with no condemnation coming from Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, etc. This isn’t the first time someone has compared Trump to Hitler but the evidence shows that the Hitler tactics are coming from the liberal communists in Big Tech, the media, and the far…
