Dear Editor, Well, not the governor of Arizona, Mohave County five districts Board of Supervisors, or Valle Vista seven Board of Directors, four of July committee, or the fire chief or Sheriff’s Office on having fireworks at Mohave County Fairgrounds or in Valle Vista. You would think with a fire alert in Mohave County and 30 fires already burning would have been a hint to not have fireworks this year. Dear Editor, I keep hearing that the majority of Americans want to tear down and replace our flag “The Stars and Stripes” because it is racist. It frightens some people when it is flown on the back of a truck. I find that very interesting. I had always thought the “Stars and Stripes” was the Union flag during the war between the States. Wasn’t the Union the side that freed the slaves? Wouldn’t that mean that it was anything except racist? I also thought that the “Stars and Stripes” was the flag our soldiers carried in Europe when they fought…

Dear Editor, There is some risk to all of life. A friend and his wife had a house paid for and a substantial savings account. At the age of 65 he was retired and bored and bemoaned he had never been a business owner. He was aware of a family who had recently closed a business so he offered to buy it from them and even employed a family member to run it.
