Dear Editor, You will be most successful if you pursue a career that you are able to do. Some jobs do not mentally or physically suit our abilities. Some people find work to do but are only able to maintain their vocational effort until they are 50 or 55 years old. This is fine as many people are able to financially retire in their fifties. Dear Editor, Oleanders! Why are they here and being sold at all nurseries? They are 100 percent poisonous and all levels of government and agriculture have known this fact for decades. These days they say nothing and don’t warn the public of the dangers of this plant. When we lived in Phoenix in the ‘80s, there were always news stories of people of all ages suffering from the poisonous properties of this plant (from the roots to the tips).
