Dear Editor, I agree with Mr. Jack Hommell, “Get out and Vote” in the June 16 edition. Our democracy and America depend upon it! We have to send a strong  message to Washington, D.C. and conservative states which want to suppress voters’ ability to cat ballots, (under the guise of making voting more secure. Never mind there is no evidence of voter fraud to begin with and none to indicate Trump won). We know lies when they arise, so remove politicians who indulge the lies from office by voting for a worthy opponent. Remember, even judges appointed by Trump have…

U.S. Issues Travel Warnings to Mexico

Dear Editor, In their June 8, 2021 Mexico Travel Advisory, the U.S. Department of State, at travel.state.gov, warns citizens about travel to Mexico. The Advisory recommends reconsideration of travel in Mexico due COVID 19 and issued “Do Not Travel To” warnings for five Mexican states including Tamaulipas, which borders Texas, due to crime. The warning for Tamaulipas also listed kidnapping as a risk. The Advisory recommends “Reconsider Travel To” another 11 Mexican states, four of them bordering the U.S. Those bordering states are Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Sonora with all warnings due to crime. Dear Editor, A few months ago I called an Bankers Insulation to have more insulation blown into our attic as it had been 11 years since we had it done. After a problem with scheduling and figuring how much insulation we needed, they came out as scheduled and were very professional They blew insulation in the attic and we had a very clean job.
