LAKE HAVASU CITY – The beautiful melodies of the Castle Valley Academy will be making a comeback this year with their Manger and the Cross concert. Affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Castle Valley Academy is a private boarding high school located in Castle Valley, Utah.   Their school’s choir consists of ninth through twelfth grade students and the choir tours regularly spreading holiday spirits through the language of music. The Manger and the Cross concert will be on Sunday, December 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the stage under the London Bridge.   This will be the academy’s second Christmas show in Lake Havasu. Pilot injured in plane crash

MOHAVE VALLEY – The pilot badly injured in a Sunday plane crash in Mohave Valley died of his injuries at a Las Vegas hospital. His named has not been released. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Mohave County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded about 4:00 p.m. after a reporting party indicated an aircraft was down and that heavy black smoke was rising from the scene.
