KINGMAN – Investigation of a traffic accident that claimed the life of a local teenager late last year has led to the arrest of a young Kingman man. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said Dalin Penrod, 20, was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on April 11 on a charge of causing death by moving violation. Fentanyl, meth seized in Bullhead bust

BULLHEAD CITY – An investigation of illegal drug sale activity in Bullhead City produced seizure and arrest on April 8. A warrant-based search was conducted at a residence in the 800 block of Turney Dr. “Detectives located approximately 35 grams of powder fentanyl, approximately 37.7 grams (about 350 pills) of blue M-30 counterfeit fentanyl, .6 grams of methamphetamine, multiple drug paraphernalia items and a Hi-Point 9mm handgun,” a press release said. Vehicle fire snuffed

KINGMAN – No one was injured in an April 10 property fire in Kingman. Fire Department personnel responded at 4:18 p.m. to the incident at the intersection of Pasadena Ave. and Adams St. “Three RV’s, cars, a Connex box and various debris were engulfed,” a news release said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

BCSD to host parent communication workshop

BULLHEAD CITY – Knowing how to access a child’s grades and assignments, or being able to communicate with a teacher, are important tools for parents. The Bullhead City School District (BCSD) will hold a free workshop for parents to understand how to use ParentVue, the District’s online portal with those capabilities.
