Aquarius, Edgewater award more than $5.8M winnings

LAUGHLIN, NEV. –  There was no shortage of winners last month at Laughlin’s Aquarius Casino Resort and Edgewater Casino Resort. The two casinos combined to pay out over $5.8 million to jackpot winners throughout the month of February.  Aquarius paid out $4,458,077 in winnings in February while Edgewater delivered $1,373,610. The grand total of $5,831,687 went to winners across a variety of casino games with the month’s biggest jackpot going to Jeffrery M., a visitor from Wisconsin who struck a whopping $216,040 jackpot while playing a 1 cent Lighting Buffalo Link machine. Chmiel named to Dean’s List

Rebekah Chmiel was named to Biola University’s Dean’s List for academic excellence. Chmiel, a Nursing major from Kingman, was one of approximately 1,600 students who were named to the dean’s list in Fall 2023. Biola students are placed on the dean’s list to honor those with a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.2.
