Upcoming Stockton Hill Road Lane Restrictions

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Upcoming lane restrictions will allow Allo Communications and Walker Electric to install fiber. They will have lane restrictions in place East and Westbound at the Andy Devine Avenue and Stockton Hill Road intersection as well as Northbound on Stockton Hill Road at Broadway Avenue, Pico Street, and Arlington Street. The lane restrictions will be in place beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14th and remain in place until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15th, 2024. Arizona hunters still have an opportunity to receive a hunt permit-tag for select 2024 elk hunts.  The Arizona Game and Fish Department has posted a list of leftover hunt permit-tags, as well as a printable paper application, on its website. Leftover hunt permit-tags include: 70 — limited opportunity (general) antlerless elk.   3 — archery-only antlerless elk.   3 — archery-only bull elk. Houston gets 16 years in mom’s brutal murder

KINGMAN – A low intelligence, mentally challenged Bullhead City man who used his hands and feet and a shower curtain rod to beat his disabled mother to death has been sentenced to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Joseph Houston, 28, pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of second-degree murder for the April, 2023 death of his mother after breaking into her home in the 1300 block of Lincoln Lane.
