Pavement work on SR 66 in Peach Springs scheduled through May 10

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for brief traffic delays for pavement work along a 34-mile section of State Route 66 north of Kingman in Peach Springs. Work started today (Monday, April 22) and will continue weekdays from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, May 10:  ADOT advises drivers to be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone while crews apply a pavement sealant.

Dad stabber takes plea deal

BULLHEAD CITY – A father recently stabbed by his own son in Bullhead City has expressed support for the plea agreement that spares the defendant from prison. The plea deal for Dylan Tell, 21, was accepted by Judge Billy Sipe on Friday, April 19. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Carlos Lopez informed the Court that Tell had been drinking before he stabbed his father in the chest during an April 1 argument at a home in the 300 block of Marina Boulevard. Three perish in fatal crash

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Three people were fatally injured in a traffic accident that shut down Highway 95 south of Lake Havasu City at 4:42 p.m. Thursday, April 18. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said a northbound Kia Forte crossed the center line of the highway, resulting in a collision with a southbound Lexus sedan. KINGMAN, Ariz. – On Monday, April 22nd, the City of Kingman will be doing a full closure on Johnson Avenue as part of the Andy Devine ADA Improvement project, which is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
