Congressman staff to meet with area residents
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The staff of Congressman Paul Gosar will be holding office hours in Lake Havasu City on Friday, June 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. at City Hall, 2330 McCulloch Blvd N, Rm. 249. Residents are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with staff regarding concerns about any federal or state topics, or to receive help with other federal agencies such as SSA, Dept. of Veterans Affairs, SBA, and the IRS. City Clerk’s Office hours changing
KINGMAN – In an effort to streamline customer service, the City Clerk’s office will be open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and closed on Fridays. The new hours will begin Monday, June 3. Access prior to 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m. will be by appointment only or by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 928-753-8113.
Juveniles arrested for criminal damage
On May 22, at about 10:15 p.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to the area of Adobe Drive for a report of criminal damage where the victim’s vehicle had rocks thrown at it.The victim was able to follow the suspect vehicle, a tan colored GMC Envoy while reporting the crime.The victim lost sight of the vehicle, but officers quickly canvassed the area and were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the area of South Palo Verde Blvd. and Constellation Drive. Reward offered for information on Chloride residential burglary
CHLORIDE – A resident returning home from an extended leave found their home burglarized. Personal items and several high-valued jewelry collections were taken. The home is located in the 4900 block of Tennessee Avenue. The homeowner and Sheriff Deputies are unable to fix an exact time when the burglary occurred. A $1,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. MOHAVE COUNTY – In April and May 2019, several cases of hepatitis A were identified in Mohave County. Hepatitis A is a serious and contagious liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus. It is most commonly spread when someone puts something in their mouth that has touched the feces (poop) or soiled fingers of an infected person such as food, drinks, or other contaminated objects.
