BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – A new community wellness check program is helping provide an additional layer of connection and safety for older adults living independently throughout the tri-state area. This is a free community-based program providing peace of mind for seniors and their loved ones, brought to you by Tri-State Cares.
How It Works
Participants enrolled in River Watch receive daily wellness check-in by text message, phone call or email, depending on their preference. Participants simply respond to confirm they are “okay”. If River Watch does not receive a response, the participant’s designated contact will be notified so someone can check on them.
Areas Served
The program may be especially helpful for seniors who live independently or have limited nearby support. River Watch serves residents of Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Topock, Oatman and Laughlin, Nev. For more information call Amy Devine at 928-201-8486.
