On May 22, at about 10:15 p.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to the area of Adobe Drive for a report of criminal damage where the victim’s vehicle had rocks thrown at it.The victim was able to follow the suspect vehicle, a tan colored GMC Envoy while reporting the crime. The victim lost sight of the vehicle, but officers quickly canvassed the area and were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the area of South Palo Verde Blvd. and Constellation Drive.

A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with several juveniles inside the vehicle. Officers observed a large amount of various sized rocks scattered around inside the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, five juveniles ranging in age from 12 years old to 16 years old were arrested and charged with multiple counts of criminal damage after being linked to numerous reports of criminal damage around Lake Havasu City over the past two days, where at least a dozen vehicles have been damaged by rocks.
