KINGMAN – On Sunday, October 20, at about 3 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Bryan Forbes, 25, of Modesto, Calif., on a felony charge of aggravated assault. According to a press release, officers responded to the 1700 block of Beverly Ave., regarding the report of a person having been stabbed. Officers observed Forbes in the area, holding a knife. The victim, a 27-year-old Kingman man, was located and treated for a stab wound to his arm. The victim reported Forbes chasing a woman, and that he attempted to intervene. Kingman’s first Renaissance Faire slated

KINGMAN – Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter have scheduled the 1st Annual Renaissance Faire and Feast from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday Oct. 26, at the Mohave County Fairgrounds in Kingman. There will be costume contests, games, a Shakespearean Troupe, a Medieval craftsman and a feast. Entrance to the event is $5 for adults and children 14 and under are free. Rangers involved in a vehicle pursuit

MEADVIEW – Rangers at Lake Mead National Recreation Area responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Thursday. At 9:47 a.m., a park employee notified dispatch that a male individual entered a government vehicle near Meadview, and drove off with it. Rangers and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect continued down Pierce Ferry Road, onto U.S. Highway 93 and turned onto Temple Bar Access Road.
