Storm disrupts county television district

Due to the large storm experienced up in the Hualapai Mountains beginning Wednesday, November 27, and continuing through the Thanksgiving weekend, the Mohave County Television District experienced extensive damage to both a building and microwave equipment. This equipment feeds the television signals to the outlying translator sites.

At this time Mohave County is working with the manufacturer to find a solution to the damaged equipment. At last report, the best-case scenario for full restoration is Wednesday evening and worst-case scenario is Friday evening.
