KINGMAN – A Kingman teenager faces a possible lengthy prison sentence after admitting sexual involvement with five young girls, 14 to 17 years of age. The plea agreement for Dillan Gonzales, 19 was entered Thursday at the Mohave County Courthouse. “I have enormous discretion at sentencing,” explained Judge Billy Sipe. LAKE HAVASU CITY – An estranged husband and wife are the victims of what Lake Havasu City police report to be a murder-suicide. Those found dead inside a residence in the 2900 block of Green Acres Drive last Thursday night are identified as Keri Malkiewicz, 42, and Daniel Malkiewicz, 53. Court records show that Mrs. Malkiewicz petitioned for divorce from her husband in July. The initial police news release said both victims were found on the kitchen floor of the residence. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man reportedly fought with officers who escorted him from a courtroom for his unruly behavior last month. The incident occurred August 5 at the Lake Havasu City municipal court on College Drive. A police report said Judge M. Dunbar repeatedly told Travis Ramsey, 24, to quit talking because he was disrupting hearings for traffic offenses. Police said Ramsey’s behavior became increasingly aggressive and disrespectful as Judge Dunbar ruled against him in his court matters. LAKE MEAD – National Park Service (NPS) rangers recovered the body of a woman from Lake Mead over the Labor Day holiday. Agency spokeswoman Carrie Vanover said the search was initiated after the Nevada Department of Wildlife located abandoned items along the shoreline at about 1:40 p.m. Vanover said the body was recovered at the 33 Hole Overlook, north of Boulder City.
