Join Kingman Concert Band for Home for the Holidays

KINGMAN – The Kingman Concert Band is revving up for its annual Christmas concert, “Home for the Holidays”, at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, at Kingman Presbyterian Church, 2425 Detroit Avenue.  Volunteer members of the community band will present “Home for the Holidays” celebrating the season through music featuring traditional, contemporary and jazz selection and their rendition of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The Arizona Game and Fish Department’s proposed recommendations for 2020 and 2021 pronghorn, elk, fall turkey and population management hunts, and for 2021 and 2022 spring turkey hunts, are available for review at www.azgfd.gov/huntguidelines. The hunt structures and recommendations were formulated based on the hunt guidelines approved by the Arizona Game and Fish Commission.    All questions or comments about a particular game management unit or hunt are welcome by emailing AZHuntGuidelines@azgfd.gov, or by calling any of the department’s statewide regional offices and asking to speak to a game management biologist. Local man arrested for home burglary

KINGMAN – On Saturday, November 30, at about 7:40 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Corry Scott Johnstone, 36 of Kingman, on felony charges of burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and two misdemeanor warrants (Kingman Municipal Court and Youngstown City Court). According to a Kingman Police Department press release, officers responded to the alley in the 3100 block of Louise Ave., where a suspicious vehicle was reportedly parked.  Officers contacted Johnstone walking in the area, at which time it was learned that he had two warrants for his arrest.  While being taken into custody he was found to be in illegal possession…

KINGMAN –  For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue & Sanctuary will host a Santa Paws Adoption Event in conjunction with Petco National Adoption Weekend on Sunday, Dec. 8 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Kingman Petco, across from Kingman Regional Medical Center.
