Experience the New Year

It is difficult to believe that we are already a full week into the New Year 2020. Some folks have barely gotten the Christmas decorations taken down and put away, and some have decided to leave the Christmas lights up all year while they forgo turning them on, simply because they don’t have the desire or energy to take them down. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lake Havasu Field Office announces the temporary closure and restriction of selected public lands for the 2020 Best In The Desert’s Parker 250 and 425 races in La Paz County. The temporary closure will be in effect Jan. 11-12 and Jan. 24-25. The temporary restrictions will be in effect Jan. 9-12, and Jan. 22-25. Access to public lands in and around the race course will be temporarily closed, restricted, or designated as spectator areas. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Packets containing information, forms, documents and petitions necessary for a Lake Havasu City resident to run for City Council in the Fall Election are available, starting on Monday, January 6.
