Dr. Diane Bartholomew, vice president of academic affairs for Missouri Valley College, has announced the Fall 2019 Dean’s List. The requirements for the Dean’s List are a 3.3 or higher grade point average; at least 12 graded hours for the semester and no “D,” “F,” or “Incomplete” grades for the semester. Noah Babiak of Bullhead City has been named to the Dean’s list. Babiak is a Junior and is studying Criminal Justice.
KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) meeting on Wednesday, January 8, at 5:30 p.m. U.S. Senate candidate Daniel McCarthy and City of Kingman Census representative Sylvia Shaffer of the City of Kingman regarding the U.S. Census will be speaking and answering questions. MRF meetings are held at Golden Corral, 3580 Stockton Hill Road. There is an admission charge of $2 per person to assist with meeting costs. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Kingman campus librarian, Erin Roper, has been accepted into the American Library Association Emerging Leaders program for 2020. The program is for librarians who have no more than five years of experience in the field. KINGMAN Come and join White Cliffs Assisted Living Center for a monthly “Grief and Loss Support Group” on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. These are group meetings to provide support to those who are struggling with issues related to grief and loss. People are there to listen and provide support when you need it. Support Groups are led by the Pastor Paul Pitts of Living Waters Hospice. The group meets every third Wednesday of the month.
