KINGMAN – A contractor will be closing Central Avenue at Southern Ave., to complete a sewer line installation on Central Ave. Additionally they will be completing the water line connection in Southern Ave. which will require full flagging operations. The closure and restrictions began this morning, January 6 at 6:00 a.m. and go through Friday, January 10 at 6:00 p.m. Up-to-date street closures and restrictions can be found on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of Geographic Information Systems (Interactive Maps): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The public is invited to a January 11th Memorial Lighthouse dedication in Lake Havasu City that will honor chainsaw mogul and engineering entrepreneurs Robert P. McCulloch and Cornelius Vanderbilt “CV” Wood. They are credited as founders of Lake Havasu City and for relocating the famed London Bridge from Europe to Arizona.
