Gildemeister graduates from Salt Lake Community College

Gail Gildemeister, of Lake Havasu City, graduated with a Certificate of Achievement in Professional Truck Driving. Salt Lake Community College congratulates more than 3,500 students received degrees on May 8, 2020, as well as the nearly 800 students who graduated with honors. Salt Lake Community College is Utah’s largest open-access college, educating the state’s most diverse student body in 8 areas of study at 12 locations and online. ADOT seeks input on future US 93 / Interstate 40 interchange project in Kingman

Several ways to view documents and provide comments through June 6, 2020 The Arizona Department of Transportation is encouraging the public to participate in a virtual, call-in public hearing on Thursday, May 28, to comment on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and preliminary design concept documents for the US 93 / I-40 west Kingman traffic interchange (TI) project. The ADOT project team has been working on the EA and preliminary design of the interchange that will create a free flow of traffic between the two highways. Shots fired after alleged thief rams police cars with Humvee

 KINGMAN – The theft of a Mohave County Sheriff’s office Humvee led to wild chase and an officer-involved shooting in Kingman late Sunday. 2020 fire restrictions announced

Seasonal fire restrictions are now in place at Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The restrictions are necessary to prevent wildfire during this period of extended drought and increased potential for wildland fires in Arizona and Nevada. The following acts are prohibited or modified, until further notice: Building, maintaining, attending or using a fire or campfire with any wood or charcoal burning device, such as a fire pit or grill, is prohibited within the backcountry, except along shorelines.
