Search & Rescue Academy open

MOHAVE COUNTY – On Saturday and Sunday June 13 and 14, Mohave County Search and Rescue coordinators prepared and instructed a 16-hour Arizona Search & Rescue (SAR) Basic Academy for new members with Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue. Bullhead City implements text-to-911

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City residents can now text-to-911 during an emergency. The Bullhead City Police Department has added texting into its 911 answering system, allowing residents in need of emergency services to text when calling is not an option. While speaking directly to an Emergency Services Dispatcher is the best and fastest way to get help or to report a crime in progress, this new text-to-911 option is designed to benefit the hearing or speech impaired.
