COVID-19 update: 111 new cases, six deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 111 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. Of the 111 cases, 41 are in the Bullhead City service area. There are also 41 new confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 29 new confirmed cases in the Kingman service area. There are six deaths also reported today and all of them are in the Bullhead City area. One of them, a 60-69 year age range person, is one of the new cases and not previously reported. Bullhead man attacked with a hammer

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man was injured when struck by a hammer during an early Monday assault. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the 53-year-old victim is being treated for his injuries at a hospital in Las Vegas. Fromelt said the 2:00 a.m. assault occurred at a home in the 200 block of Balboa Drive. She said it was reported that the victim was in an altercation with his roommate, 36-year-old Daniel Dean Bowersox. Fromelt said Bowersox is wanted for questioning. MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 12 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. There was also one death from a previously reported case. It is a 70-79 year age range person in the Kingman service area. Of the 12 new cases, nine are in the Bullhead City service area.
