Registration underway for free BHC preschool

BULLHEAD CITY – Registration has started for preschool at three campuses in the Bullhead City Elementary School District.  Families must meet certain income eligibility criteria for free preschool, which covers most openings at Coyote Canyon School.   A limited number of scholarships are also available at Diamondback and Sunrise Schools, both of which have self-pay options.  There are a limited number of self-pay spots at Coyote Canyon. Shooting death in BHC under investigation

BULLHEAD CITY – A shooting death is under investigation in Bullhead City. The incident was reported at 5:00 p.m. in the 600 block of Mead Lane. Police department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said an argument between two men escalated into a shooting. The name of the 45-year old man who was killed is withheld, as well as the name of the suspected shooter. Fromelt said additional details will be provided Wednesday. The investigation continues. Credit card skimmers found at local gas stations

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department wants to make the community aware of credit card skimmers that have recently been found at two local gas stations, one in the 2800 block of Chemehuevi Blvd and the other in the 1000 block of Acoma Blvd. S. An employee at each station located the skimmers during a security check of the pumps.   At this time, no victims have come forward to report their credit card information being compromised.
