Woman’s death ruled homicide; boyfriend charged with murder

FORT MOHAVE – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives arrested Daniel Joseph Campbell, 55, of Rochester, MN, for second degree murder per domestic violence. On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at about 6 p.m., deputies responded to Boundary Cone Rd. and Hwy. 95 in Fort Mohave for a welfare check. An out-of-state reporting party advised that she had received a call from her friend’s boyfriend, telling her that her friend had overdosed on illegal drugs and that the victim was not breathing. KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department (KPD) has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The funds will be used to pay for officer’s time and employee related costs for enhanced targeted efforts of DUI and impaired driving enforcement throughout the City of Kingman from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. Teen charged with child molestation

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives arrested Michael Trey Hefner, 19, of Kingman, for molestation of a child. Detectives were contacted by Huntington Beach Police Department regarding a delayed report of child molest that occurred in 2017 at a home in the 1800 block of Hearne Ave. According to an MCSO press release, the female victim, who was 10 years old at the time of the incident, alleged that Hefner, her older stepbrother, forced her to engage in sexual acts on multiple occasions. KINGMAN – On Monday, November 18, at about 10:00 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Roger Donald Denny, 54, of Kingman, on felony counts of aggravated assault and criminal damage. Officers responded to a restaurant in the 3200 block of Andy Devine Ave., for a report of a man wielding a large metal pole, threatening employees and damaging television monitors. BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) is actively investigating a homicide, where one man was fatally shot and his wife was injured. Detectives are currently looking for Jonathan Arthur Wallace, 27, who is wanted for first degree murder.
