FORT MOHAVE – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Kenneth Francis Mohs, 53, of Fort Mohave, for aggravated assault per domestic violence on Thursday, Oct. 17. According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office press release, the victim reported to officers that she had been in a verbal argument with her husband, Mohs. She stated that she had her back to Mohs, when he came up behind her, placed his hands around her throat, and began choking her. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Law enforcement continue to seek the public assistance in identifying a deceased man who was found floating between two rental boats near London Bridge Beach on Saturday, Oct. 5. The man is Asian, about 224 pounds, 5 feet 8 inches tall, black/graying hair, brown eyes, between 50 and 60 years old. He was found wearing a blue polo shirt, green tank top, blue jeans. KINGMAN – On Sunday, October 20, at about 3 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Bryan Forbes, 25, of Modesto, Calif., on a felony charge of aggravated assault. According to a press release, officers responded to the 1700 block of Beverly Ave., regarding the report of a person having been stabbed. Officers observed Forbes in the area, holding a knife. MEADVIEW – Rangers at Lake Mead National Recreation Area responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Thursday. At 9:47 a.m., a park employee notified dispatch that a male individual entered a government vehicle near Meadview, and drove off with it. Rangers and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded and attempted to stop the vehicle. The suspect continued down Pierce Ferry Road, onto U.S. Highway 93 and turned onto Temple Bar Access Road. BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman choked back tears of happiness when she was acquitted of drug charges in Kingman Thursday afternoon. “I hope the newspaper reports this because I am innocent,” Christy Tyler, 41, quietly said to defense attorney Rhys Campbell.
