KINGMAN – On Wednesday, Dec. 11, Jeremiah Grant Peacey, 40, of Kingman was found guilty of theft of $170,000 from a suitcase stolen from a cart at the Kingman Walmart. During trial, Peacey did not dispute taking the suitcase, but rather the amount of money that was in the suitcase. He maintained that there was significantly less than $170,000. Nordyke sentenced to 12.5 years in prison

KINGMAN – A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and apprehension of the person(s) responsible for a drive-by shooting that occurred on Friday, December 6, at about 12:15 a.m. Kingman Police Department (KPD) responded to the 2300 block of Emerson Ave. regarding the 911 report of a someone shooting at a home from a vehicle. Carlton sentenced to 12 years in prison

KINGMAN – On Dec 4 Paul John Carlton,34 of Kingman, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for luring a minor for sexual exploitation, attempted molestation of a child and attempted sexual conduct with a minor. The sentence was ordered by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle. Prior to the sentencing, relevant parties were given the ability to speak for or against Carlton’s behalf. Local man arrested for home burglary

KINGMAN – On Saturday, November 30, at about 7:40 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Corry Scott Johnstone, 36 of Kingman, on felony charges of burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and two misdemeanor warrants (Kingman Municipal Court and Youngstown City Court).
