LAKE HAVASU CITY – Over the past several months, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been conducting an investigation into two subjects selling illegal drugs in the Lake Havasu City area. Counterfeit pills may be leading to increased overdoses

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department wants to make the community aware of a recent increase in local drug overdoses and the discovery of illegally manufactured counterfeit pills.   LHCPD officers have responded to at least a half dozen calls over the past few weeks involving unresponsive subjects, one in their late teens, where it was determined that the subjects ingested a pill that was not prescribed to them.   In a few of these cases, LHCPD officers have had to administer Narcan (brand name for Naloxone) nasal spray to the overdose victims.   LHCPD officers began carrying Naloxone…

Driver will not be prosecuted in double fatality

KINGMAN – The Mohave County attorney’s office has declined charges after reviewing an investigation of a two-vehicle collision that claimed the lives of a Kingman couple. Robert Fred Naumann, 69, and Joan P. Walsh Naumann, 80, were critically injured when the Buick Sedan they occupied was struck head-on by an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe that crossed the center line of Stockton Hill Road at 8:55 a.m. on Jan. 7. KINGMAN – A teenager molested by his father at separate addresses in Golden Valley asked a local judge Thursday to place his dad on probation rather than send him to prison. Defense attorney Paul Amann asked that the Courtroom be cleared before the victim spoke, but his request was rejected by Judge Sipe. Kingman man charged in burglary

Entered home with woman and child at home KINGMAN -On Monday morning, September 14, Kingman Police (KPD) arrested Moises Aguilar, 24, of Kingman, on felony charges of Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
