COVID-19 update: County ends weekend at 249 cases

Newest cases all in Kingman area MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 3 COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County.  All three are in the Kingman service area.  Two are in the 20-44 year age range. Eighth Street project underway

KINGMAN – Work has begun on the Eight Street underpass drainage and roadway improvement project recently, which will reduce storm water runoff, reduce the duration of ponding, and limit the deposit of storm debris under the underpass, which will allow the underpass to be reopened to traffic sooner after a major storm event. The total cost of the project is $479,000, and a large part of that funding will be paid through a grant the city of Kingman was awarded from the Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program administered by the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (AZDEMA). BCESD outlines grading process for K-8 students

BULLHEAD CITY – As the spring 2020 semester winds down later this month, officials from the Bullhead City Elementary School District are reminding parents that student grades are continuing despite the closure of campuses by State executive order.  Classes switched from traditional classrooms to distance learning, both online and via printed packets, in March.
